 Since 2009 Carol has been selling
her 'Natural Treasures' jewelry collection online and at various craft fairs in
London and throughout the UK. Her jewellery is also sold in galleries
and boutiques internationally from Brighton to Barbados.
In 1997 whilst studying to be a primary school teacher, Carol developed Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and found that in an instant her life had changed. Due to the debilitating symptoms Carol now suffered as a result of her illness she began to draw on her creative side and love of jewelry. From 2006 she attended various silversmithing and jewellery making courses in an attempt to rebuild her life and bring back a sense of normality. As her hobby developed, the positive response from family and friends inspired her to take her passion and natural talent further and develop a business so others could benefit from her designs and craftsmanship. Carol is now able to make a living doing something she loves which can also be worked around her ill-health.
